As mentioned in my Adore Me post (here), I received the #XOVoxBox from Influenster. In order to receive VoxBoxes from Influenster, you just need to sign up, and take their surveys and fill out product reviews, and if you match one of their campaigns, you’ll be notified that a box is coming your way!
I received my box sometime last week, but I wanted to wait until I tried all of the products before reviewing them! Here’s what came in my #XOVoxBox:
Tide Pods + Febreeze, 12 count, $4.99
I actually already use Tide Pods, because I find that they last longer than detergent for me. I hadn’t tried the Tide Pods + Febreeze until now, and I actually really love the way these smell. Great job Influenster, I’ll probably buy these from now on because I really love the smell!
Colgate Optic White Toothbrush + Built-In Whitening Pen, $14.99
I think this is a really great idea to have the built-in whitening pen in the bottom of the toothbrush. If I used medium bristle toothbrushes, I would probably love this toothbrush, however, my dentist has instructed me to use ultra soft bristles, especially because I have sensitive gums, so I unfortunately won’t get much use out of the toothbrush. I do really like the whitening pen though. It tastes similar to the film leftover from using Crest White Stripes, except that you don’t have to keep it on your teeth forever.
Colgate Optic White Express White Toothpaste, $3.99
I don’t really think you can go wrong with toothpaste. This toothpaste claims to give you whiter teeth after 3 days of use, however, I can’t tell you if it actually worked or not because I just went to the dentist yesterday for my routine cleaning. It tastes good though!
John Frieda Frizz Ease Beyond Smooth Collection (shampoo, conditioner, primer), $9.99
This shampoo smells so good. And because we are still having those crappy winter days, my hair has been getting staticy. I washed my hair with this stuff and left it natural for the first day. I had no frizz or static. The next day, I straightened it, and still no static or frizz, so I’m impressed.
SkinFix Hand Repair Cream, $10.00
This stuff is expensive! I was in Target the other day and passed this on an end cap, and the smallest size you could buy was $17.99! I used it a couple of days last week and it did seem to keep my hands from drying out. It’s fragrance-free and made with natural ingredients, so I think it’s a great hand cream for people with sensitive skin and allergies. It is made with colloidal oatmeal, so even though it’s fragrance-free, I feel like there is a faint scent left on my skin after use. I don’t think I would purchase this, because I really like hand creams with fragrances, but if you wanted a fragrance-free, natural option, this is a great hand cream that works.
The cards included are referenced here:
$25 dollars for Ebay after completing some tasks
Land’s End $25 off purchase of $100 or more
Free lingerie from Adore Me, $39.95
Total Value of Box (cards not included, but lingerie from Adore Me is included): $83.91
So what did you think? Have you received any VoxBoxes from Influenster, and if so, what did you get in yours?
I received these products complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes. All opinions are my own.
