I truly think these are a must-have for fall fashion, and I have no clue how I’ve gone years without owning a pair of these up until last year. I think many women see them and think “that’s not my style,” and I know I fell into that belief before I got myself into a pair. But really, I don’t think it’s a style thing at all. I think it’s more of a ‘I’m scared of possibly being noticed’ thing. But what do I know!
Everyone loves denim and everyone wears denim, so why can’t everyone love coated denim, and wear coated denim too! Just sub out your everyday dark wash or black denim with coated denim and keep everything else the same! They really aren’t hard to work into outfits at all! In fact, they take the typical t-shirt and jeans outfit up a notch! They are also a great alternative to the leather legging look without the price tag of leather. If you don’t own a pair of coated denim, but you want to, I would recommend sticking with a basic black pair before buying coated denim in other colors. Mine are a bit more edgy with the pin-tuck panels at the knees.
